Young Writer's Workshop - Friday (6:00 - 7:00)

Calling all storytellers! Riverside Theatre Arts is thrilled to be offering our first ever writing workshop for students who are looking to break into playwriting, screenwriting, musical writing, novel writing, and more.

In this class, students will get to learn story structure and character development through fun and engaging exercises. They will do weekly writing prompts, study their favorite movies/musicals, and workshop their original writing with the class.

Introduction to Directing - Friday (7:00 - 8:00)

Riverside Theatre Arts is thrilled to be offering our first ever directing workshop for students who want to learn how to run the show.

In this class, students will practice directing scenes, study work by directors they love, and perform original material. Every week the students will have an opportunity to work hands-on as directors and choreographers. Together they will build material for a final showcase.
